Paul Anka at the Hanover Theatre - Worcester, MA

From the 1950's right up until today, Paul Anka continues to
charm his audiences with songs that he's written.  Tonight he sang
"Diana", a crowd favorite along with "Put Your Head On My Shoulder",
"Puppy Love," along with so many others.

Paul sang "My Way" a song he personally wrote for his
friend Frank Sinatra.  His new Duets album is out!
This month marks his 55th year in the business.

Marblehead, Massachusetts

On the north shore of Boston is where you'll find Marblehead.
Very old homes dating back hundreds of years can be found along the
narrow, winding streets.  Several yacht clubs and great places
to eat are here in Marblehead.
Definitely worth the trip!

A quick stop at the Eastern Yacht Club completed our visit.

We got to see and hold
"The Gerard Barnes Lambert"
yachting trophy.  This impressive trophy was
made by Tiffany & Company and dates back
to the 1930's.

The Model Room is shown here.

Lovely Spring Morning

Mr. Fur sits on his famous English Garden bench.  This beautiful
sunny morning is something to behold.

Spring...a time of renewal.  Everything is fresh and new
in the gardens.

This print belongs to the culprit who tore down
our suet bird feeder.  Whoever it was...perhaps a
raccoon, had quite a feast two nights ago.  I must
get a book on animal tracks!  Oh...there's always
the Internet but books are best!

Patriot's Day 2013 in Massachusetts...A day we will never forget.

As we celebrated Patriot's Day, the "shot heard round the world", the
start of the American Revolution, we are reminded of those evil beings
wanting to hurt Americans.  As our Patriots did over 200 years ago,
we must unite and continue to be true to our freedom and cause.
Our hearts and prayers go out to the innocent victims, all who responded
and the families from which they came.

While in Savannah...

A visit to Savannah just wouldn't be complete without a
stop at James Hogan, 412 Whitaker Street.  James is a
wonderful designer with this gorgeous shop in Savannah
and another in Worcester, Massachusetts.

It was mighty cool and breezy in Savannah!  Down on the
river front there are lots of little shops including some that
sell pecans!  Pecan Pie anyone?

Savannah, a great place to celebrate St. Patrick's Day!

Magnolia's of Savannah, 137Bull Street in the historic
downtown district sells these wonderful Wizard of Oz dolls!
I just wanted to take them home!

A quick stop at Paula Deen's gift shop was on our list
of places to go.  Didn't eat at the Lady and Sons Restaurant but
did see lots of fried chicken when looking in the window!

The Olde Pink House  & Planters Tavern
23 Abercorn Street
is a MUST!!!  The building is stunning and the color
is beyond fabulous!  The staff and service is second to none!
SO...while in Savannah make a reservation here!

Do Children Dress Like This Anymore?

These classic children's outfits, recently seen in Savannah
Georgia, are fabulous!  Down South this attire is the norm.
Hand smocking with shamrocks is stylish for March 17th!

With Easter just around the corner, these outfits featuring
bunnies and chicks are what's for the young of Savannah!
