Middleburg, Virginia...A real gem!

The Pavilion on Madison Street is dedicated to
Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.

Jackie was a frequent visitor to Middleburg during and after
her marriage to President Kennedy.

The Red Fox Inn on the corner of East Washington (Route 50)
and Madison is a great place for lodging and dining!

Here in the dining room of the Red Fox Inn, you must try their
famous Peanut Soup, a real southern tradition.

Quaint shops and food purveyors are found neatly nestled in the
downtown area of Middleburg.
The Fun Shop at 117 Washington Street is my favorite place.
There is everything from Mariposa, cocktail napkins, hostess gifts,
equestrian everything and a MUST stop while here!  As you can
see the weather was rainy, cloudy and just plain too cool!

The Christmas Sleigh, Inc., at 5A East Washington Street
has the most beautiful Christmas decorations.  At this time of
year, I found lovely decorations for my Easter Tree!

This is Salamander Resort and Spa.  Take a right on Pendleton Street
just after Safeway.  There you will find the newest addition
to Middleburg.  A must visit while here.  The Gold Cup
Bar is where you will find the horsey set.  So, sit and relax with
your favorite beverage.  Perhaps you may play a game of pool or two!

Here's a beautiful fence which borders one property after the next.
Scenic and perfect in every way, the people in this community take
pride in their surroundings!  Horse country it is indeed!
Vineyards are plentiful in this area such as
Boxwood Estate Winery, Cana Vineyards & Winery
Chrysalis Vineyards and Greenhill Winery & Vineyards.
Go to "The Pink Box Visitors Center "

This little guy was born perhaps only a few hours before this picture was taken.  It's not even
tagged yet in order to keep him or her paired with its mother.

Here is Percy the pig!  He was to be a miniature but someone got
mixed up.  Anyways, he roams around our friend's house and gets
along famously with the other residents even giving this puppy a ride!
The people in Middleburg are not only horsey people, they are animal people.
As you can see here, all are welcome!
