Louisa May Alcott's "Orchard House"

A visit to the home of "Little Women" in Concord

Remodeled from two buildings built before the
Revolutionary War, this house was the home of the
Alcott family from 1858 - 1877.  Here Louisa May Alcott
wrote "Little Women in 1868.

  1. Little Women is one of my favorite books of all time! In this heartwarming story about four sisters growing up during the Civil War, I have learned so much about the world around me, and ironically, myself. It tells of how people can choose to live their lives and how happiness can be found even through hardships.
