Back to Bristol...Blithewold Mansion, Gardens and Arboretum

This 1908 English style house contains the original furnishings
once owned by the Van Wickle family.  This tranquil setting
on Narragansett Bay is rich in history.  If you like to learn
about prominent and interesting families, a stop at
Blithewold should be on your list of places to visit.

The self-guided tour is very informative.  Breathtaking
views from the house show off water views and gardens.

Relax and stay awhile at Blithewold.
Weddings are held here underneath a beautiful white tent
on the lawn overlooking Narragansett Bay!
Do you know someone in need of a wedding location?

Rare woody plants from around the world along with
native trees grow side-by-side in a park-like setting.

  1. I love how close you and your sister are. I would love to meet her one day. You both travel so much...it's lovely.
