Two Sisters Boston Visit Continued...

Lunch at the Parker House on Tremont Street!
Cloth tablecloths and napkins, comfortable seating
gorgeous surroundings along with a fabulous luncheon
menu.  Oh...those Parker House Rolls!  Yum!!

In the window they had a giant
picture of the Parker House Rolls!
Served warm...just out of the oven!

"Trumpet of the Swan" is a wonderful book.
Key parts take place in the Public Garden and
the Swan Boats are featured.  If you haven't read
this classic...you must.  Nancy reads it to her class
each year.  Lots of important lessons are learned.

This 15 minute ride is well worth it.
It is a very relaxing few moments
in the midst of a busy city!

The swan boats are beautiful and are powered by
a human pedaling away!

Russo's on Pleasant Street in
Watertown, Massachusetts is a fabulous market!
Gorgeous produce, cheese, flowers and bakery are
some of the highlights of a visit to Russo's.
Special thanks to Jeannie for this
recommendation.

Picture perfect produce...underneath gourmet jellies, jams and syrups
can be found for your culinary needs.

Locally grown strawberries in the old-fashioned
containers ...how delightful a sight!

All kinds of breads, cakes, cookies and more are found
at Russo's.  These French Madeleines are most tempting.
Isn't the packaging terrific?
